Construction Materials Inc. was founded in Montgomery, Alabama in 1967. The company has grown from a home based operation to 15 branches in five states. CM has locations in Jacksonville Florida, Panama City Beach Florida, Orlando, Florida, Fort Myers, Florida, Fort Pierce, Florida, Tampa, Florida, West Palm Beach Florida, Miami, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, Nashville, Tennessee, Huntsville, Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama, Montgomery, Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, Houston, Texas, and Jackson Mississippi. We also have 8 rebar fabrication facilities as well as a hollow metal door division.
The company is still family owned and operated. It has grown to the point that it has many of the benefits of larger distributors but has not lost the personal touch that makes small business relationships so attractive. CM product offerings have expanded constantly throughout it’s 40 year history. CM began with top quality, well recognized lines such as Master Builders, Sonneborn and W.R. Grace and have grown to include over 600 vendors. CM represents Dayton Superior with tilt-up with concrete forming rental and accessories as well as W.R. Meadows construction chemicals. We sell a variety of products for every stage of new construction as well as restoration. CM offers CSI division 2,3,4,7,8, 9 and 10 products with special emphasis on cast in place concrete, ( forming and reinforcement ) masonry reinforcement, waterproofing, sealants and concrete repair products. Our product lines have grown to include lumber, power tools & accessories, hollow metal doors, and many other day-to-day products used on job sites Construction Materials has always marketed it’s products through the pre-construction bid process. Therefore, products, which are well specified in our markets, have been the focus of our efforts.
